3M to buy Ceradyne for US$860m: NEW YORK, Oct 1 – 3M Co plans to acquire Ceradyne Inc for about US$860 million (RM2.63 billion), adding advanced technical ceramics to its diverse portfolio, which ranges from Post-It notes to films used in television screens.
