Japan steel makers to show big profit drop: report:
LOS ANGELES (MarketWatch) -- Japan's top steel producers JFE Holdings Inc. and Nippon Steel Corp. are set to post heavy drops for their group pretax quarterly profits, the Nikkei business daily reported Sunday. JFE's pretax profit for the April-June quarter is expected to be 60% less than a year lower, while Nippon Steel's profit would fall 80%, the unsourced report said.
